Step One
REGISTRATION WITH THE MMCC
(MARYLAND MEDICAL CANNABIS COMMISSION)
The first step as a new patient is to register through the Maryland Medical Cannabis Commission (MMCC) and pay the required state fee of $25. You will be required to provide some basic information and upload a valid photo ID with your Maryland address. The state requires proof of Maryland residency to accept the application. After registration, you will be provided with a MMCC ID number. Registration can be completed here,
Step Two
MEET WITH OUR HEALTHCARE PROVIDER
Schedule your online telemedicine appointment with the provider from Maryland Green Consultants. In-person appointments are available upon request. The provider will review your health condition and help determine if medical cannabis would be appropriate for you. The consultation with our nurse practitioner takes 15-20 minutes and you will then be certified.
Step Three
GET YOUR CARD
If you have already registered with the MMCC and have your ID number available, you can be certified the same day. You can print your temporary card and immediately visit the dispensary of your choosing.
